DIMENSIONS

DashArgos is built atop Google Cloud's Looker. In Looker, a "DIMENSION" is a "groupable field" and is used to filter query results. It can be:

• an attribute, which is directly associated to the column in an underlying table;

• a fact or numerical value; or

• a derived value, computed based on the values of other fields in a single row.

For example, "DIMENSIONS" for "Block Times" might narrow down the time frame investigated to "Block Written Date" such as "Hour."
