Now that you've customized your first "Look" it's time to learn how to schedule daily alerts to yourself or other team members.

In this section, you'll learn how to manage Scheduled Delivery to you and your recipients, for instance o obtain regular alerts as to wallet activity or blacklisting.

In this example, we'll be looking at the [Multichain] Stablecoin Mints & Burns Last 30 & 90 Days dashboard.

The dashboard is available in the Knowledge Base and can be found here:

1. Getting Started

Once you've chosen the dashboard you'd like to have delivered daily, click on the top right hand corner to bring out the dropdown.

Click on the three dots to bring out the dropdown.

2. Scheduling and Format

You can customize many fields to Schedule Delivery of the Look and/or Dashboard.

2.1 Settings

Under the Settings tab, you can customize the

  • name of the Look and/or Dashboard you are sending to yourself;

  • the Recurrence and Time;

  • the Destination; and

  • the Format

2.1.1 Destination

You can send the Look and/or Dashboard to the following locations:

  • email

  • Webhook

  • Amazon S3

  • SFTP

2.1.2 Formats Available

The Look and/or Dashboard can be extracted in the following formats:

  • CSV zip file

  • PDF

  • PNG visualization

CSV zip file is generally recommended for large volumes of data, where certain details could be lost in the PDF or PNG visualization versions.

Certain emojis associated with address labels may not render in CSV format, but other pertinent information, such as text, will render correctly. Do note that certain script, especially Cyrillic, may not render correctly depending on the CSV reader you are using.

2.2 Filters

If your Look or Dashboard has filters for input, you can enter the values you want to search regularly for your Scheduled Deliver.

For instance, if you want to receive daily alerts to see if the addresses you're actively monitoring have been blacklisted, you can enter the address, or list of addresses here.

If your filter has other fields, such as "Labels" you can also filter for Labels that are of interest to you, such as exchanges, or forwarding addresses.

2.3 Advanced Options

If you're sending the Scheduled Delivery to several recipients within your organization, or as part of a daily newsletter or alert, you can also include a custom message and customize the presentation to ensure completeness and presentation.

2.3.1 Run Schedule as Recipient

Recipients will receive data as if they loaded the Look or Dashboard themselves. Any access filters (optional) or user attributes (optional) will be applied.

Links to the Look or Dashboard will be included in the Scheduled Delivery, so recipients who have a DashArgos account can click on the link and be redirected automatically to the Look or Dashboard in the Scheduled Delivery.

Links are included by default and recommended for most users.

2.3.3 Expand Tables to Show All Rows

Given the sheer volume of data being presented on DashArgos, Looks and Dashboards may sometimes be so large that navigation bars are needed while using the DashArgos interface, to reveal all the information presented.

By checking the checkbox to "Expand tables to show all rows" will avoid the situation where large tables are rendered as plain text, or the displayed rows are limited.

2.3.4 Arrange Dashboard Tiles in a Single Column

Tiles in some Dashboards may be laid out side-by-side for quick comparison. For instance, the popular, "[Tron] Largest Counterparties For Addresses (Side-by-Side) View"

But such a side-by-side layout may not be suitable for Scheduled Delivery. By checking the checkbox "Arrange dashboard tiles in a single column", Scheduled Delivery recipients may be able to view the dat more easily.

2.3.5 Paper Size

If you expect recipients of the Scheduled Delivery are likely to print the data, or compile it as part of a larger document, you can format the Scheduled Delivery to any of the following paper sizes:

  • Letter

  • Legal

  • Tabloid

  • A0

  • A1

  • A2

  • A3

  • A4

  • A5

2.3.6 Delivery Timezone

All Looks and Dashboards are by default in UTC. You can however specify the delivery timezone to your local timezone, but bear in mind that the data may be distorted because the cutoff date/time for any Look or Dashboard is based on UTC.

DashArgos recommends your Scheduled Delivery be made with reference to UTC.
